Sustainability

Consciously crafted in small collections, an antidote to mass produced and throwaway ‘fast fashion’, each piece is handmade by me in my Nottinghamshire home studio. Designed to be treasured, re-worn and handed down through the generations as a keepsake item. Whilst I am not perfect, being environmentally conscious is highly important to me both in my personal and professional life. Where I can I incorporate vintage beads and pearls into my designs, sourced from broken and unwanted old necklaces that might otherwise be thrown away. Any new beads I use are sourced from small businesses or trusted uk based brands. All my packaging, even down to the kraft tape, is all recyclable with no plastics used. My business and thank you cards are all printed with environmentally friendly inks onto FSC sourced paper. Any returns will be resold, or the materials repurposed into new designs. I am always looking for new ideas on how to become more sustainable, so do let me know if you have any!
